此装置类似于一般织带机上的伞轮装置，是一种优于伞轮装置的纬线供应装置，它可以在不停机的状态下实现纬线供应量的微量调节。
工作原理：通过调整螺帽向顺时或逆时针方向旋转，可以实现托架组合整体相对于支撑轴芯有一定范围的可调角度，从而改变带动皮带转动的两个旋转支点之间的距离，加上张力皮带盘独特的梯面设计（伞状设计），即可人为控制皮带压紧轮的转速，最终实现所需的纬线供应速度（供应量），以达到纬线的供需平衡。
