前几天发现ddo（龙与地下城ol）登录steam平台，兴高采烈跑去玩，结果找不到队友
国外的玩家英文不好没法交流，国内的都是高等级玩家，完全找不到人来玩
顺便介绍一下收费情况。美服游戏是道具收费，类比国内各种游戏，但实际上也就比全免费玩家多了几种种族、职业和副本什么的。
还有最重要的一点，本人在S服，国内玩家基本上都到这个服务器，别选错了啊

Awesome game. See that large number on the time played above? Yeah that has only been since it got on Steam. Yes the graphics are dated and some of the base D&D mechanics are creaking under the weight of all the add-ons done over the years. Most of the problems with mechanics tend to show up at the upper level ranges (20+) Many of the recent adjustments to classes has taken some of the difficulty edge off of the lower levels as power creep has reared its head. -----------For the absolute best DDO experience:get 3-4-5 friends that have zero experience playing. Have everyone go through the tutorial (it is solo only). Set up a schedule of play time and request that no one plays at all outside of the group time,
no spoilers!Dont go read about how best to play the game or the best builds , etc. The exploration and learning on your own when it is all fresh to the whole crew is priceless. Some dungeons have you thinking with your fighter ,barbarian or sorcerer you are the baddest MoFo ever. Next dungeon you are cheering on the rogue who is sneaking around a room full of big, bad Ogres, that would squash him in no time flat if they see him/her, picking up the soul stones(dead PCs) of the entire party to take them back to the shrine to be raised from the dead. ===========================Lots to do as free to play so no need to pull out the CC right away. If you follow the above plan for best experience by time you get to where you feel the 'need' to pay, you will gladly be screaming &take my money, now!&
-----------------------One word of caution aboMany of the older dungeons have the unfortunate MMO min/maxer design problem. You will run in to somethings that require X Strength score to open or Y skill points to trick an NPC will seem really high.
The desiginers couldn't make the stat requirements too low where a balanced character could complete with out making things trivial for the min/maxers.Just keep that in mind when building that maxing or nearly maxing your primary ability scores is suggested and likewise it is better to have a few skills that are maxed rather than a bunch of skills with low investment.
~~~~~~~~TLDRStill haven't experienced anything quite like it after years and years I still keep playing.Noobstyle with friends is the best but super deep to keep even power gamers happy for a long, long time.

This is actually a hard review to write. I've played DDO regularly for three years, and irregularly before that. The community is great, it has one of the friendliest and most welcoming player bases of any MMO I've joined. The game itself is a steaming mess of bad coding and half-written abandoned systems pasted over old half-written abandoned systems. Content is released with quest-breaking bugs that (more often than not) are not fixed even while it's still the newest release. There appears to be little to no revision control in place, as the few fixes that are implemented are regularly lost in future updates and never replaced.The lead developer and his assorted team members all routinely admit to being unable to understand systems programmed by previous work teams, as well as not knowing the mechanics and how the game rules work.That all said, the players are great, and if you ignore anything added after 2013, the content is very fun.

I have been playing this game since release. In terms of gameplay its one of the best. There is always something to do and they are regularly adding content to the game. One of the good things about the game is that you wont succeed unless you do well in a party since there are few solo dungeons. There is a crazy assortment of loot as well as the ability to craft. One of the weakness of the game is the FTP model. The store in DDO makes it possible for you not to do any work in the game. You can just buy all +5 tomes. Also, even though they have added the Forgotten Realms to the game it doesn't have that D&D feel. Its a cool world in its own right but weak in terms of emersion

I started to play this game in 2009 at that time it was Dungeons and Dragons Eberron Unlimited. I played it quiet a long time approximately 1000+ hours. We started with bunch of friends for fun but then all of a sudden it became serious we were addicted this game was amazing, we cleared lots of dungeons had the best items, paid for some expansions. After a long time i started to play it again and with a fresh ideas. My review is short and simple as always.
PROs:-Gameplay is amazing.-Dungeons are really detailed and great.-Leveling system and classes are different than usual but its better in most ways. -Quests are good and not boring.-You can create really good Builds with a fantastic skill tree system-It's a game to play with a group friends. (for me the solo is a little boring) not just for fun because in lots of dungeons you need different classes and roles to have the most of it.
CONs-The graphic are getting old and decent for our time.-There is a lot of, i mean A LOT OF, &paid& content like expansions, character slots, classes, races... goes on. -It's not a free world there is only cities , towns to roam, shop etc. and dungeons (instances) for some action.-Not too much players: Population is really low.-The game is dying and perhaps nearly dead.It's a wholla lotta different gamplay experience. I recommend this game. I love this game. it has a different place for me. I suggest you to play it (if possible play it with some friends), experience it, than its all your decision to like it or not. Have Fun!
